2.2.0 Running as PDC on rh6.2

Can anybody please help me in joining the win2k client with linux running
samba 2.2.0.
I am getting the following errors:

[2001/04/23 15:34:42, 0] passdb/pampass.c:pam_accountcheck(381)
  PAM: Account Validation Failed - Rejecting User!
