Hi,

I am writing because I installed samba on a solaris 2.6 client that is a
part of NIS.
I created the smb.conf file and ran testparm, kicked of the daemons and
checked the shares
with smbclient -L backup1 -N. So far everything looked good.
However, when I try to map the network drive on my pc that is in an NT
domain I got the
following error message:
"The account is not authenticated to login from this workstation".

I have wins configured in the smb.con and at this point I'm out of ideas.
If anyone can help me
I'd really appreciate it.
