Win2K joining Samba 2.2.0 domain problems

OK, I have more info ... From examining the logs, the Win2K machine is
sending an api_netlog_rpc opcode 0x05 to the maching that it is failing
agains, while it never sends one of these to the server it is succeeding
against.

What is such an RPC?
