wierd logon problems

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem. Running Mandrake 7.0 and Samba 2.0.6.
Please refer to my earlier post titled "2.0.6 logon problems".
Can anyone point me to the documention for the logon authentication
process?
I would appreciate any clue.
