Winbind

Ok, despirate times call for.. a helping hand:
I am trying to get a samba server off the ground.  I want winbind to work, so I
don't have to make local accounts for the ~1000 users we currently have.  It
will be a print server only.  I like what I hear about the newest alpha about NT
printing, but I would be happy to get winbind working on anything.  I am running
mandrake corporate server 1.0.  Which is(I believe) based on RH 6.2.  If someone
could give me step-by-step info I would appreciate it, or at least step-by-step
installs of Winbind.
