Before you can do that, the administrators of the domains you wish to
trust must allow you to trust them.  Under the hood, when they let you
trust them, they are creating a special domain trust account; when you
take the step of trusting thier domain, you are then utilising that
account to authenticate against their SAM.  The mechanism is very
similar to the way a workstation trusts the domain.
