Unable to connect to printer

I am using NT 4 SP5.  I found an article late last night stating that printing 
in SP5 and above is not yet supported.

What is the status of this?

Some mention of your client software might help.  From the mention of
"lpt1:", can we assume it is a Microsoft operating system?  If so,
which one?  Yes, it does make a difference.
