TNG does not compile on HP-UX

I still can't get TNG to compile under HP-UX 10.20 using either
HP's cc 10.32.05 or gcc 2.7.2.1.  The error message is actually
from the linker (ld B.10.37) but I'm guessing it is a library
problem.  The error message is:

 /usr/bin/ld: Unsatisfied symbols:
    dlclose (code)
 /usr/bin/ld: Invalid loader fixup for symbol "global_myworkgroup".
 *** Error exit code 1
