simple nt client question resolved and 2nd question

Hello Again,

I found that my configuration worked, the problem was that when authenticating
I had to specify the user as  DOMAIN/USER for it to work.  Looking at the samba
logs I determined that  without specifying the domain the machine  (NT4) would
use its name as the domain, which then obviously failed. The correct domain was
specified in the machine's config. Is this  normal behaviour?  Is there a fix?
