logins from win98 failing with TNG 3/02

No idea. I could be wrong about it being the cause of the problem (it's
happened). Try using the bind interfaces option in smb.conf and tell it
which interfaces to bind to. I believe that it's still an option ...... 

I got the same message in the configure script in my multi-homed SuSE
6.2 box. It still works. Oh yeah, except for the whole trust account
thing (workstations, servers the lot).

Anyway, I hope this helps.
