smbclient test not working

I doubt it (kerberos that is). More information is required - samba
versions, contents of the smb.conf files, version of OS (RedHat 6.x?)
and hardware (intel).

You have joined the second machine to the domain

smbpasswd -j DOMAIN

Right?
