profile & group map fail

Well this morning I can in and completely zapped everything in the private
directory and started again (DON'T DO THIS IF YOU ARE RUNNING A PRODUCTION
DOMAIN!!) now TNG seems to be working perfectly? I have admin privilege and can
join machines to the domain fine. I have no idea what was wrong before.
