control login from win95-98

I begin to try to configure samba (2.0.5a for linux) for control the login of a win95/win98 workgroup and i have this message in my log.snm file :

    [2000/01/04 15:57:41, 0] nmbd/nmbd_nameregister.c:register_name_response(112)
    register_name_response: server at IP 1.0.0.100 rejected our name registration of XAM<00> with error code 6

what does it mean?
