file dates changing

Issue:  When a user copies a file from an smbclient to the samba server,
the date of the file on the server is set to the day the file was copied.
This seems to apply to either copy or move operations.  The user is using
the windows explorer to do the file copy operations.

Is there a way to have samba keep the original date of the file rather
than stamping it the date of copy?
