Unable to Authenticate on PDC

For some reason I can't authenticate on my Samba PDC.  The message I get in
the log.smb is "password for USER is incorrect"

I've used smbpasswd and changed it like 50 times..  and I've added the
machine name that's trying to connect.  Any ideas?
