Joining domain with win2k

In W2K I'm getting (alternately) one of,

- No mapping between account names and security IDs was done
- The remote procedure call failed

When the second error message is received I don't get
the prs_grow buffer overflow logged.  But I seem to
always get the error when the first W2K error is
received.
