Problem when connecting from NT4 workstation to home directory

Hi,

   We are experiencing a small problem connecting from NT4 workstation
through SAMBA.
   When I logon from NT4 workstation I "might" get connection to my home
directory on Linux server, other times I      might not ! I need to logon
again and then it works !!!

   It is driving up the wall !! --- need some help please!!!!
