Pb wiht smbmount and the accent

I have a web server (Debian 2.1,Apache 1.3.12). I used smbmout to mount
a NTFS file system on my Web Server.
Wiht my Netscape navigator, when i list the NTFS directory mounted on
the Web Server, the accent does'nt correct.
What is the problem?
In my smb.conf i have
caracter set = 850
client code page = 8859-1
in /etc/samba/codepages  i have codepage.8859-1 file
