Yeah, It's possible, but I'm not sure how successful others have been.
Lars, do you think that this needs to be changed?

Try grabbing the latest tarball from
ftp://ftp.samba.org/pub/samba/alpha/. I have had a fair amount of
success with TNG by itself.
