Problems Starting SAMBA

I have downloaded and compiled the source code.  I am starting the daemons 
manually since I do not have a script written yet.

When I check the log.smb file, I am finding the following messages:

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?  Thanks in advance for  your assistance.
