Michael,

this is a standard issue that you will have regardless of the type of PDC
(samba, nt, cascade, as/u etc etc).  you already have a preexisting
connection from the wks to the PDC, which you will have to terminate.

for example, you may have a share-view open on the PDC: you will have to
close it.

for example, if you do a net view, it may show connections open to the
PDC: you will have to net use \\pdc\share /del them.
