samba + ldap = C00000BE

hi all,

i've just set up samba (from cvs) with ldap. everything works nicely,
except changing the passwords from nt-clients; i get the
C00000BE-error. i saw a discussion about this a while back. is there
any fix for this? 
if not, could someone explain the problem a bit, so i can try to fix
it myself?
