NT Server / Linux

Hi!

I'm not sure if Samba can do what I need for password synchronisation,
but I'll give it a go - could anybody please give me any ideas?

I have an NT Server that has about 900 accounts
and also a redhat linux server with 80 accounts. The linux server is
the mail server and also proxy server with authentication.

Is there any way we can use samba to get linux to verify the password
from the NT server, ie make our linux server read passwords from
a PDC

Basically, the passwords should go into /etc/shadow, as qpopper
uses it, and squid's authentication package reads off /etc/shadow
in the format of username:password

Regards
Andrew Chung
