ACL oddity

There are various accounts which do not show up correctly in my Add Users
And Groups dialog box.  They show up as hex numbers or 'Account Unknown',
and appear to be for standard accounds like Everyone, Creator Owner,
System, and so on.

How can i get these to read correctly so that I can add 'Everyone' to a
share or security ownership?
