smbpasswd & NIS

[Bas.Kelderman at eptl.elf-p.fr]

I've got A SunOS 5.5.1 server and the Linux clients are mounting their  
home directories of this server and are also authenticating passwords  
through NIS ....
Don't know if NIS+ will work though.
