network printers

All,

I'm having a few problems at the mo' setting up network
printers on my NT4 (SP4) box. I'm running 2.1.0prealpha
on a Solaris 2.5.1 Sparc Ultra-1 set up as a PDC and
2.0.4 on all other Sparc boxes which is all fine a dandy.

After installing drivers, when I try to print to a device
I get the following message:

> "The filename, directory name or volume syntax is incorrect"

I have the following options in my smb.conf file:

> load printers = yes
> printcap name = /etc/printers.conf
> lpq command = /usr/ucb/lpq %p
> lprm command = /usr/ucb/lprm -P%p %j
> print command = /usr/ucb/lpr -r -P %p %s
> printing = bsd

With the share:

> [printers]
> comment = All Printers
> path = /tmp
> browseable = yes
> printable = yes
> public = yes
> writable = no
> create mode = 0700

All is working fine from Win95 machines and the NT boxes seams
to be checking the queue etc:

> [1999/07/05 12:45:57, 3] printing/printing.c:get_printqueue(1011)
> Running the command `/usr/ucb/lpq laser-room615' gave 0
> [1999/07/05 12:45:57, 6] printing/printing.c:get_printqueue(1027)
> QUEUE2: no entries

any ideas? I have the log from an attempted print if anyone
wants a look.

Cheers

Alex.
