Authentication problems with "-d 100"

That kind of error usually is caused by  a  mix  of  BSD-compatibility
headers  and  native  ones.  Make  sure  that  you  don't  invoke  the
/usr/usb/cc compiler during the configure and/or make phase. Make sure
that /usr/ucb/include is not used either.
