Possible to have a NT Server not try and be a PDC?

Heyas,

I've been using Samba 1.9.x for over a year to serve everyone
within the dept, using a NT Server as a password host.

I've been testing 2.0.1 as a PDC and implemented it today with
great success (except printing broke, but I just switched to using
TCP/IP printing services).

I have the following in the smb.conf...

os level = 2
domain master = yes 
preferred master = yes

but the NT Server still wants to answer when adding a machine to
a domain.

Is there anyway to have the NT Server on the same domain and
sit there quietly?
