smbd SegV in latest CVS (for past two weeks)

Well, you can ignore this.  After sending it, I decided I'd take a chance
and see if anything had changed in the 1/2 hour since my last update.  Sure
enough, there were a couple of files changed, including the lib/util.c, and
a recompile proved that the problem exists no more.
