Viewing (and changing) the permission from my NT box

i think i remember someone saying that the alpha PDC code is best used
as PDC-only and that you should run 2.0.5a for file&print. this is
because all the nice file&print features in 2.0.5a have not been
migrated to alpha b/c developers are focusing in on PDC code
functionality first and foremost.

hence, you run the alpha code AND 2.0.5a on the same box (or separately,
whatever).

i could be mistaken,
