Having problems compiling Samba source

I have downloaded the source code from cvs.samba.org/pub/unpacked/samba.
While trying to compile with ldap support, I get the following error (I do
have the OpenLDAP 1.2.3 installed BTW):
checking configure summary 
configure: error: summary failure. Aborting config 
I am using a dual PP-200 with RedHat 6.0 intel as the OS. Any suggestions?
