Roaming Profiles?!?

Lars,

can you add to smb.conf
 debug level = 2
 timestamp logs = No

then try to login again.
Find the lines where connection to service Profiles is denied.

It will look something like this:

Allowed connection from hq95.ldxnet.com (192.168.200.7)
ACCEPTED: validated uid ok as non-guest
Initialising default vfs hooks
Connect path is /home/profiles
cindy is in 5 groups: 508, 41, 100, 101, 102
dos_ChDir to /home/profiles
dos_ChDir to /etc/rc.d/init.d
hq95 (192.168.200.7) connect to service Profiles as user cindy (uid=508,

If the reason it can't connect isn't obvious, send it over here.
