Profiles are gone

Now, after some weeks without trouble, the old problems are back in
town.

Logging in with NT4.0 SP4 to Samba 2.04b on Linux 2.2.10 (DEBIAN) the
doze can't find the local profile and is producing a new one...


WHY???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Yesterday everything works fine, this morning no one can get his/her
profile from samba server...

I don't know what to do and my solutions are on holiday )-:

It's not possible to describe all the users to make new local profiles
and delete them after logging out and hope that they can use their
samba profile.

HELP urgently
