Beta2 worked just fine for me... But I always ran customized CVS
version. Look up messages with "demystified" subject at
http://anu.samba.org/listproc/samba-ntdom/thread.html for details about
modifications made (incl. disclaimer!) and some explanations.
Alternative way to do same thing (but sacrificing even more
functionality) is to add "nt pipe support = no" to config file. Well, I
realize (and hope you do too:-) that it might as well be caused by
something else...
