Bad machine accounts

[Andrew Perrin - Demography]

Has anyone figured out a pattern and/or a preventative measure for the
phenomenon of machines spontaneously not having valid machine accounts?
It seems to happen every once in a while, and you have to un-join the
domain and then re-join it; kind of a bother.
