I fixed smbpasswd.c last night (around 6:30pm US pacific time).
Re-checkout & it will work. Welcome to the bleeding edge :-).

Question - does your "logon drive" parameter contain a %U ?
If so I broke that in the main branch yesterday, I should
be checking in a fix today.
