Future smbpasswd functionability?

Hello All,

In perspective to being able to changes passwords on NT machines via
smbpasswd.  Would there be any possible functionality with being able to
use smbpasswd to reset any user password on the NT machine via correct
Admin and password?

The reason I am in question of this is because we're currently helping the
helpdesk with tools via web pages and I really dispite IIS completely and
would prefer to use a unix means and samba seems the most logical way.
