Any possibilty of SAMBA using NIS to authenticate NT Workstations?

Hi,

Is there any possibility of SAMBA using NIS to authenticate NT Workstations
rather than the smbpasswd file in the future.

Or is this impossible?

It would be really useful to have one password file authenticating everything.
