try NTconfig.POL. also, remember that samba doesn't support the NT SMBs
yet. this could have something to do with it.
also, it could be a time/date stamp issue: we've just gone over to BST
again. if your TimeZone files are wrong (e.g on slackware 3.0) then the
file time/date stamp will get screwed...
