[Samba-it] Scadenza password per utenti pdc

Salve a tutti!
Ho configurato su Fedora 3 un pdc samba (ver  3.0.10-1.fc3) senza ldap.
Sembra funzionare piu' o meno, solo che non riesco a capire come far 
scadere le password!
Ho usato i seguenti comandi:
- pdbedit -P "password history" -C 1
- pdbedit -P "maximum password age" -C n
- pdbedit -P "min password length" -C 8
La password history e la lunghezza minima funzionano correttamente.
Per quanto riguarda "maximum password age", n e' espresso in secondi o 
giorni?
Se lo imposto a 60 dovrebbe scadermi dopo un minuto, ma così non e'!
Seconda domanda, esiste una gui per la gestione degli utenti e delle 
password?
Ultima domanda (per ora...), ho la necessita' che alcune share di samba 
siano visibili solo
dagli utenti apparteneti ad un certo gruppo e non agli altri. Lo faccio 
gestendo i gruppi a livello
di sistema operativo o esiste qualcosa di dedicato incluso in samba?
