just export anything you share in samba via NFS also, and create the
appropriate automounter maps in your NIS...

depends on which linux you're running. SuSE for example creates a config
for lisa automatically, and runs it automatically at boot, if you're
using the kde packages from ftp.suse.com.

The trouble with lisa (henceforth, PITA) is that it is very poorly
documented, so if you have to create the config file by hand, best
approach would be the KDE2 controlpanel applet for lisa/reslisa and then
copy the resulting (revolting?) config file to /etc.
