when you have two IP adresses on a win box and only one on the linux box (nt

and win 2k have this prob at least) then you have to make sure that the IP 
with the same Subnet mask as with the Linux box Subnet is the first one to
be 
listed. else nothing will work and you won't get any useful errors, as this 
prob is windows sided. problem is that the winproxy won't work then...

anyway, don't know if i am right to write to you or if i should have written

to somebody else(or should have kept from writing totally)
