autobuild: intermittent test failure detected

The autobuild test system has detected an intermittent failing test in 
the current master tree.

    auth: Remove support for HAVE_TRUNCATED_SALT from pass_check.c
    
    The comments indicate that this was needed for HP-UX at one point, but
    the configure code was never ported to WAF.
