There seem to be some severe bugs in svn related to rename.  I've found that
if you ever want to do an 'svn rename' it's best to ensure everything else is
committed first, then do the rename and immediately commit it.  I've ended up
having to delete and re-add entire subtrees to fix the mess I got into due to
mixing rename with other changes.
