I think it does for IPC$ connections.  I was trying to set up an
anonymous file share with RestrictAnonymous=2 on a win2k machine but
couldn't get it working at all despite adding "NETWORK" and "ANONYMOUS
LOGON" users to the permissions list for the share.  )-:
