Grrr. Thanks for spotting that. That's why I *hate* last
minute makefile changes. They're always bloody trouble.

Currently I've released a RH7.1 intel 2.2.2 rpm, so can you
fix this in the SAMBA_2_2 CVS please ?

It's too late to change the tarball (I don't re-issue them once
they've been announced) but it should be fixed for the next
release.
