Hello,

i recently compiled successfully the Samba-HEAD daemons from the CVS tree. now
everything is set up and running fine. *)
but then, i have recognized that, whenever i create a directory in a
samba-share, a zero-size file called "TESTDIR.TMP" is created in this directory.
i wonder if it is a Samba-HEAD issue, since this file is only created, when i
create directories with the Windows Explorer. (Win2k, SP2). when created via
"mkdir" in the command-shell TESTDIR.TMP is not created. i crawled the web about
this issue, but found nothing helpful. maybe it is a known issue and you can
help me?

Thanks in advance,
Christian.

*) well, *very* fine, it is a "dual-samba" configuration, so samba-head is
doing the [shares] while samba-tng is acting as the PDC!
