No, that should suffice.  Occasionally, someone forgets to commit an
updated include/proto.h file when relevant changes are made.  If you get
compile-time errors like:

    conflicting types for `some_function_name'

chances are you'll need to do a 'make proto' after you run configure, but
that's about it.
