Cut across merge from appliance branch to get winbind working again with
HEAD.  I've only merged winbind and winbind bug fixes.  There are still a
number of general samba bugs that I haven't merged from the appliance
branch:

 - i18n fixes
 - select() race bugfix
 - Gerald's extended security patch
 - dlinklist.h improvements

So don't use the SAMBA_TNG branch for anything other than winbind stuff for
the moment.
