How to contribute to ldap.c

I decided to try the experimental LDAP support and found that ldap.c
wouldn't compile.  Also, getldap21pwXXX were not implemented.  I made the
changes/additions that I believe fully implement ldap_ops functions and
would like to contribute my code to the project.

My questions are:
1.)  Did I repeat work that is already done somewhere else?   I checked
Revision 1.28.2.3.2.2  and Revision 1.38 form CVS
samba/source/passdb/ldap.c.  I'm not positive there isn't some more recent
code elsewhere in the tree.
2.) Should I just send my code to someone on the Samba Team (Jeremy seems
to be listed by most of the entries in the CVS log for ldap.c, or is there
a test suite I should run against it first?
